People without emotions do not exist…
A business is created and developed by an entrepreneur, and every entrepreneur is, first and foremost, a human being filled with various emotions. It is their emotional state that dictates what will happen at any given moment.
How will a person react to changes, difficulties, or inconsistencies?
It is the emotional state that determines “what” decision will be made and “how” it will be implemented.
Therefore, a single question arises:
— Do you control your emotions, or do your emotions control you?
If you truly control your emotions, you have enough time to get everything done, and you can calmly focus on what is essential and necessary. You solve current tasks quite calmly and productively, see all the interconnections, and realistically assess future prospects.
And things are completely different when emotions control the entrepreneur. Doubts and inner conflicts keep you in a state of tension, creating a constant rush and a lack of time. Time seems to disappear, the number of unresolved tasks grows, and it feels like it is impossible to cope with it all. It is good if debts aren’t growing and there are enough funds to cover unforeseen expenses.
It is our emotions that determine “how” we perceive what is happening. Acting as personal “beacons,” they signal that something is important, but usually, these signals are ignored. Emotions accumulate, getting “stuck” inside, and the entrepreneur doesn’t even notice that a decision was purely “emotional.”
And any “emotional” decision means:
- a loss of time, effort, and money;
- disrupted or unproductive negotiations;
- a loss of connections and mutual understanding;
- completely unpredictable results.
We can clearly speak of a correlation between business effectiveness and one’s emotional state during decision-making. The more emotionally neutral an entrepreneur is, the more clearly they understand their own emotions, and the better they see and understand the emotions of others in current business events, the easier it is for them to manage, set tasks, conduct negotiations, and achieve the desired business results.
So, what is worth building up—knowledge or emotional alignment?
No matter how much you know, no matter how much you study motivation, management, and the principles of business building, it all simply vanishes in real business circumstances the moment emotional misalignment occurs. The moment emotions take over a decision.
So is it worth investing time and money into something that depends entirely on our emotions?
Perhaps it is better to invest time and money directly into yourself, to develop that emotional alignment that leads to personal effectiveness? An highly effective entrepreneur can solve tasks of a rather high complexity. And, of course, the effective resolution of business tasks means success and prosperity.
Just like that, “emotions” turn out to be the key that everyone possesses, but not everyone knows how to use.
By increasing their emotional alignment, a person creates something vital: they improve themselves, and in the long run, achieve what they desire. This improvement remains inside forever, changing the quality of life, management, and opportunities.
Bring yourself into emotional alignment through business coaching.
Naturally, this is serious work; it is essentially training yourself in real-time while solving actual business tasks. It is a process where the following happens simultaneously:
- solving business tasks;
- building emotional alignment;
- increasing the personal effectiveness of the entrepreneur (manager);
- transitioning to a new level of management and personal achievement.
Coach training is a serious approach to yourself and your business, as alignment comes from a systematically correct approach and the continuous improvement of your expertise. There are no skills or abilities that cannot be developed. You just need to invest time, desire, and money into yourself and your alignment; you need to clearly understand exactly “what” success depends on and what your specific role in it is.
We remain at the level of success where we stop improving our skills. Be mindful—invest time and money into your expertise and the quality of your life.
